Ilchi Lee Biography

Ilchi LeeIlchi Lee is a brain education teacher born in South Korea in 1950. His original name is Seung Heun Lee. When he was young, he performed badly in school. The teacher said that Ilchi Lee is a failure and will never succeed in the future. When he finished high school, he attempted to sit for the college entrance exam but he failed. He only passed the entrance exam after sitting for it for the third time. Ilchi Lee climbed the Mount Moak in 1980. After climbing the mountain, he fasted for a few days. After fasting, he understands that human has the ability to make their own decisions.

Ilchi Lee began to give lessons about how to perform different types of exercises. He decided to give exercise lessons for free because he wanted the people to become healthy and make the right choices in life. He provides free exercise lessons in a park situated in the Anyang province of South Korea. The first student of Ilchi Lee was a person who suffered from stroke. After that, Ilchi Lee taught people in larger group. Later, he started the Dahn Yoga Center. The first Dahn Yoga Center was located in a rented space in Seoul.

Ilchi Lee had organized a number of meetings including New Millennium World Peach Humanity Conference. The New Millennium World Peach Humanity Conference was organized in Seoul. It was attended by thousands of people from different parts of the world. President Al Gore and Maurice Strong are among the important speakers that attended the event.
