Nearly all of these accidents could be prevented if people didn’t wait until they were pulling out into traffic to start looking for the turning signals or locating the mechanism to open the window.

Request a new car, you wouldn’t want the inconvenience of breaking down in unfamiliar territory. While the car is heating up or cooling off, adjust the car’s mirrors, this is difficult to do once you are already on the roadway.
In order to get the safest driving experience from your car rental, adjust the radio first, and check the location of the horn, wipers, lights, and anything else you might use, such as the ashtray. Don’t pull out in traffic until you are familiar with the location of anything you may need in a hurry.
