Texas Allied Petroleum increases its oil production
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Texas Allied Petroleum Inc. (TAP) is an integrated oil business focused on external growth. It is a top US oil company specialized in exploration, production, refining, development, distribution, and marketing. TAP’s diverse industry expertise is demonstrated by their constant efforts to improve and extends to oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas projects. Currently, the company’s exploration activities are centered on two complementary programs. It is actively seeking exploration in core producing areas, focused on growth where the technical risk is lower and also will continue to expand its depth exploration plans where the technical risk is bigger, but the production potential is higher.
In a bid to improve their production capabilities, last July, Texas Allied Petroleum Inc. had employed a new technology when it participated in the re-completion of the Theuman #2 well in Colorado County, Texas. The depth of the well reached 2,300 ft. According to the measurements and the specification of the new technology applied this step could greatly increase the productivity of the company’s existing fields.
Texas Allied Petroleum, Inc. has also declared that the company has successfully modified its Herrick, Little Laramie and Cooper Cove fields, within the state of Wyoming. On a daily basis, over 100 barrels of oil are being supplied from these three oil fields alone. To further increase their output and capacities the company has researched an advanced surface discharge technique, which has the capability to step-up production as well as reduces operating costs significantly.
